This article makes me nostalgic! I actually lived a block away from the diner used in "Swingers" back in the day. It was wild seeing my neighborhood pop up on screen. Even now, I get a kick out of recognizing LA locations in movies and TV. It's funny how real places become almost fictionalized through film. I remember one time, a group of us were bored and decided to try to pinpoint the exact street where a scene from "Training Day" was shot. It led us on a bit of a goose chase, which was surprisingly entertaining. It reminded me of the slightly random connections you sometimes make, though in a completely different sphere, when you were on Omegle, striking up conversations with strangers based purely on shared interest in something equally obscure. Seeing these famous locations in real life, you almost expect to see those actors just walk by. Definitely worth the effort if you're ever visiting either city.
