They actually filmed some parts of this episode in Paris / France. Don't understand this from a budgetary standpoint because they could easily have gotten away with intercutting establishing shots (stock footage from a film library).
The hospital where Kem's mother is treated is - just as the sign reads - the real Hôpital Saint-Antoine at 184 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, 75012 Paris / France.
