ER: Season 1 - Episode 1; Pilot
- (0:36) Dr. Doug Ross Looking Out The Door And Seeing It Is Raining Outside / Linda Vista Hospital; 610 S. St. Louis Street, Los Angeles (Note: He Is Looking Out The Back Door And The House Seen In The Background Is Located At 608 S. Chicago Street)
- (0:59) Dr. Mark Greene Talking With John Carter In The Ambulance Bay / Linda Vista Hospital; 610 S. St. Louis Street, Los Angeles (Note: This Whole Hospital Was Used For The Pilot Episode As It Is A Vacant Hospital And Now Just Used For Filming)
Does anyone know if the ER production team went and fixed up any part of this hospital to make it look like it was not abandoned? I would think that would have to do a little of that to make it look like it is fully functional.
ReplyDeleteThe Cook Country General cafeteria at approx. 13:45 into the episode is actually the Commissary at Warner Bros. Studios (4000 Warner Boulevard, Burbank, CA).
ReplyDeleteThat's a really interesting bit of trivia! It's amazing how location scouts can find such specific spots. Speaking of being stuck inside, that view of the rain reminds me of all the times the power went out at my grandma's house. To pass the time, we'd end up playing board games or, if the laptop still had juice, the Dinosaur Game on Chrome – simple but surprisingly addictive!
