  2. Excellent work. I'm amazed at how some of those locations have changed quite a bit even though it hasn't been that long since the film has come out.

  4. If you go west toward the left edge of that building that the pawn shop is in you'll see the alley where Marsellus takes a final shot at Butch by a store today named Gift City. You get a clear look at the alley if you zoom in on Google Map.

  5. Monster Joe's is only 1½ miles n(2½Km) from Surplus City Jeep parts where Matrix (Arnold Schwazenegger) and Cindy (Rae Dawn Chong) went "shopping" in Commando

  8. It's so weird how many of these locations have been torn down.

  9. There are a few missing pieces. Where was Marselles' strip where Vincent calls Butch a palooka?

  10. People visit and come to live in LA because of all the movies shot locally. Unfortunately, the city officials don't care about preserving any of these buildings. Even buildings of historical interest or importance are at risk without a fight! Pretty soon LA will be indistinguishable from any other prefab city in the US. So visit soon before its all gone!!!

    1. OK Boomer. People like you is the reason why we never get new residential buildings built and why we have lots of homeless people and people who struggle to pay rent or can't afford a new home.

    2. This is most every city in the country, unfortunately. It is sad to see so many “this building has since been torn down” captions under these photos. When we’re alive long enough, we have no choice but to watch things fade out and die off, which can be hard. People who type things like “ok boomer” on technology invented by boomers (bless their lil hearts, huh?) are just not in a place to grasp that yet. They actually never might be. They very well may spend their entire lives believing that everything just sort of ::poof:: appeared at the moment of their birth. Anyway, as a GenXer, I hear you. I get it. Sure do. Much respect ✊🏼

  11. About Lance's house...
Growing up, we had a close family friend who lived in the Atwater neighborhood of LA. That friend told us she spoke to the owner of "Lance's house" who was offered $14K to use her home for the movie. She was also told that when they finished the shoot, the owner said that it was returned to her precisely that way it was. She couldn't even tell there had been anybody in there.
