    I live in Michigan near Grand Rapids, and I think I know where the Great Lakes Arena is. I believe it is Cobo Arena in Detroit. I could be wrong but it really looks like it. The address is 301 Civic center dr. Detroit, MI. Love your site!

    1. Hello, thank you for letting me know. I have since added to the page. There is no doubt your are correct. I knew it wasn't in Chicago and should have looked a little harder in Detroit for it as it makes sense now why they filmed at the old Tiger Stadium. Thanks again!!!

    2. I'm positive that this is now Feed Restaurant at 2803 W Chicago Ave. I work there and today a customer told me that he was an extra in the movie and that the pizza scene was filmed there. I looked it up and found this blog.

  4. Hey the projects in the beginning when they first show the overhead view of the field are the old Dearborn homes. No other buildings had that criss cross design! Just letting u know from someone that used to spend a lot a time there ✌🏼
