The veranda scene is from the backlot at Warner Bros. in Burban, CA, but it is filmed really closely. I think they used some temporary elements, so it's hard to make out to which house this rear or side view belongs. I'm sure about the backlot though, particularly because the DVDs contain an outtake from that episode that was clearly filmed in front of the two houses on the southern end of the residential area (Kings Row) which no longer exists (a.k.a Dean’s house from "Gilmore Girls" plus the brick home next to it that used to have these elegant columns before it was remodeled after "Gilmore Girls").

At 07:32, you can see the the shape of the veranda pillars and the horizontal wooden element on top of the pillars very well. They are a match with how Lorelai's house on "Gilmore Girls" used to look for a while. I'm pretty sure they used Lorelai's house with a faux brick coating as Jackie's home. I think Peter, Cleo and Jacky are sitting in front of what later becomes Lorelai's door on "GG". You can see the oriel at 03:27, which is still there in "Gilmore Girls" and nowadays. The green wall with the clapboard siding we see next to Khandi Alexander at 03:34 is a temporarily installed element, I think. I also think they moved the camera and the actors' positions around several times because the characters' POVs and the following camera angles don't match, which makes the whole segment kind of confusing. But it does the trick — it creates the illusion of yet another structure while, in fact, they use one of the backlot buildings over and over again.Thomas J.
