  1. The location for hitchhiker is probably outside of El Paso along the Santa Fe line. The station sign appears to be for "White" TX. Best guess is that it's near the intersection of Doniphan Dr. and W Sunset. Hope this helps.

  2. What about the name of the last hotel the bears stayed in across from the dome?

  7. The hitchhiker is in El Paso and it is Doniphan street right of Mesa street. I recognized the park and the fire station in the background.

  9. Just some history on the white church mentioned above, where they play the baseball game around the cemetery. The mission was rebuilt at its current location in 1843 after the Old Socorro Mission was destroyed by a devastating flood in 1829. The name of the white church is Socorro Mission. Hope this helps anyone that looks at the photos you posted from El Paso, Texas. Enjoy!

  10. I am still researching the Desert Breeze Motel. I have googled different motels. What I'm thinking is that another Motel company either bought it out and remodeled it. I will continue to look into. As soon as I find information I will post it. I found a Motel in Flagstaff, AZ. that kind of resembles it. I will continue to research.

  11. Lots of kids from my school in Friendswood, TX were extras in the Astrodome. We lived about 30 miles south of Houston.
