  2. The address of Marshall Fields is incorrect. The picture your showing was at Water Tower Place. I was an extra in The Fury. They filmed on Oak Street Beach too. Had a fake telephone booth set up as I recall. It was blazing hot that day and extras had to sit around forever in the hot sand while all the stars ate lunch in air conditioned trailers.

    1. Thank you for the correction. I appreciate it. A crew member said it was at Macy's and since I have not been to either place yet I believed the crew member. I know you are correct.

  3. I was there in the beach seen at Chicago. Not seen but I was there. It was a cool day that I will never forget.

  4. The W. Van Buren site was also the location of the Blues Brothers fleabag Plymouth Hotel for Men Only that Carrie Fisher took a rocket launcher to! You can see a bit of "For Men Only" in your picture on the left. I waymarked this and have a pic from the movie at http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMJ2ZX_Plymouth_Hotel_for_Men_Only_The_Blues_Brothers_Chicago_IL
