  1. From what I can find, it looks like the pawn shop used to be located at 1656 West Madison St in Chicago. I figured out that it was Chicago Pawners & Jewelers. When I googled them, their official website said they originally opened at Madison & Paulina. After going down the street in google's street view, I believe I found where it used to be located. However the entire block has been torn down and there is a parking lot there now. If you look at the sign on the front, it says 1656. That's obviously the address, as the food mart next door says 1660-52. Plus the pole says that there is a bus stop there, which there also is at Madison & Paulina.

  3. The theater where they go to the movie is, “The Music Box” 3733 N. Southport Ave. Chicago.
    I lived just around the corner on 3744 Greenview when I was a kid and attended Blaine Elementary School and later Lake View High School.

  4. I found the location where Alison Porter and Jim Belushi come up the elevator in the beginning of the movie. I also took some pictures of the location if anyone is interested in adding them to the site.
